1. Don’t pick a title longer than 15 characters – long names do not do as well in lookup engines such as Google. In any case, most keywords shouldn’t be overly long so you should endeavor to keep your title as short as possible so people can remember it and do not need any reminders.
2. Pick a title related to your keyword – It may not always be possible but it is good to buy a domain title which is related to your keyword. It shouldn’t necessarily be a exact match domain but ensure that when Google’s crawlers come across your site they see the relevancy of your site to the keyword in your website’s title.
3. Do not use hyphens – It may seem to be a good idea to split you site title into hyphens but in Seo terms, this is a definite no-no. Lookup engines can detect individual words in a website title without you including spaces.
Keep to these 3 simple rules when setting up your website title and you will definitely be on the correct path to moving up in the Google rankings, with the help of Tweet Adder.
