Are Snore Rooms Actually The Way Forward?
I was reading an article in the Los Angeles Times the other day which said that a house had been designed with a “snore room” in mind. Rather than dealing with the issue, married couples are turning to getting a second room so they can sleep apart to get a good night’s sleep. Have they ever thought about getting a snoring mouthpiece? It’s a somewhat cheaper option!

In fact, you may be surprised to hear that far more people are deciding on such rooms rather than dealing with the heart of the snoring issue. Of the “baby-boomer” generation, an amazing 25% of partners choose to sleep apart because of snoring problems. That is a very significant number of over 55s who choose that dealing with snoring with medical treatment is not the way forward.

There is actually a snore room now offered in Del Webb’s Sun City Shadow Hills in Indio where somebody can sleep in an adjoining room to the master bedroom. Such answers are quite extreme really if you think of it.

Certainly, as you become older, a man or a woman is more prone to heavy snoring. Loud snoring occurs when your throat muscles relax too much and inhaled and exhaled air brushes up against the side of the respiratory tract. As you grow older, throat muscles tend to become far more relaxed and additionally, the older you get, a lot of people find they get slightly bigger in size as well, which leads to the chance for you snoring.

One of the best and cheapest solutions, as I have already said, is often a snoring mouthpiece. Consult your doctor to see if you get one fitted for your mouth, and you will certainly see a significant alteration which should enable you to sleep in the same bed as your spouse, without resorting to having a snore room in your old age!
