4 Major Position Factors (in Google’s Own Words)

With all the hell that has broken unfastened since Google’s last Panda update, I think it is good to remind people of some of what Google alone has said on the matter in the past. In their Webmaster Blog last May, shown here, Google provide us with a long list of questions (23 in fact) to ask yourself as a site operator. When creating your website (utilizing Senuke and Seo), and developing content, keep these 4 major details in mind which can be deciphered from Google’s own words.

Trust and Authority – Can your site be trusted? Does it have good presentation and protection? Does it provide quality content which the person will want to read? Is such information of a high level and is the website an authority on what it is talking about?

Article Quality control – Are your articles long enough (previously mentioned 300-500+ words)? Is all of your content original? Is your content unbiased? Do you add value to a specific subject?

Site comparison – Compared to other websites in your niche, is your website of the same standard in terms of quality of content? Do you ensure factual inaccuracies and spelling mistakes are reduced to a bare minimum?

Will people want to share it? – Following on from the quality and value of the content you are providing, is it something that will be shared on social networking sites, and social bookmarking sites. A direct quote from Google’s blog: “Is this the kind of webpage you’d want to bookmark, share with a friend, or recommend?”

These 4 details are surely major position factors which Google is now using. For Seo (and using Senuke ) take heed of their advice, and make sure you abide by their suggestions.
